• Originating from Parkersburg, West Virginia, Katy's path to excellence began at Marshall University, where she graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, focusing on Healthcare. This solid foundation set her on a course that soon led her to become a distinguished figure in the insurance industry.

A Career Defined by Dedication and Success

• Katy’s professional journey kicked off at Apria Healthcare in Columbus, Ohio, where she honed her customer service skills. In 2002, a new chapter unfolded as she moved to Atlanta, Georgia. By 2006, Katy had become a licensed insurance professional with Wellcare of GA, quickly ascending to become the number one producing representative in her territory by 2007, and securing her place as the third top producer nationwide at Wellcare in 2011.

• Embracing the independence and challenges that come with it, Katy ventured into the realm of independent insurance in 2015, focusing on Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare Supplemental plans including plan G. Her dedication and knowledge have earned her consistent recognition as a top representative with Humana since 2019 and a leading producer with Lourie Life & Health since 2016. Katy continues to lead the industry educating and helping those through the Medicare planning process.
