  • What services does Senior Health Solutions offer?

    • Senior Health Solutions specializes in health and life insurance options for seniors. Our services include Medicare guidance, critical illness insurance, dental and vision plans, and hospital indemnity insurance. We aim to provide comprehensive support to meet your health insurance needs.
  • How can Senior Health Solutions help me with Medicare?

    • We guide you through understanding your eligibility, explaining the different parts of Medicare, and helping you choose additional coverage if necessary, such as Part D or Medicare Supplement Insurance. We also assist in determining if you qualify for any financial assistance programs.
  • At what age am I eligible for Medicare?

    • Most individuals are eligible for Medicare when they turn 65. There are also specific conditions under which younger people may qualify, such as having a disability or End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).

  • What is the difference between Medicare Part A, B, C, and D?

    • Part A covers hospital stays, skilled nursing facility care, hospice care, and some home health care.
    • Part B covers certain doctors' services, outpatient care, medical supplies, and preventive services.
    • Part C (Medicare Advantage Plans) is an alternative way to receive your Medicare benefits, which bundles Part A, Part B, and usually Part D.
    • Part D covers prescription drugs.

  • Do I need additional insurance beyond Medicare?

    • This depends on your individual health needs and financial situation. Medicare does not cover everything, such as most dental, vision, hearing aids, long-term care, and more. Supplemental insurance plans, like Medigap or Medicare Advantage, can help cover these additional costs.
  • Can I get insurance if I have pre-existing conditions?

    • Yes. Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans cannot deny you coverage or charge you more due to pre-existing conditions. The same applies to Medigap policies if you apply during your Medigap open enrollment period.
  • How can I contact Senior Health Solutions?

    • You can reach us via email at katyweathers@yahoo.com or by phone at (404) 964-3450. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, by appointment only.
